INDIA – A huge and very thirsty huge King cobra came out of hiding in search of water in a drought-stricken village in southwest India.
While snake handlers kept the 15-foot snake under control, a brave villager knew that the snake was parched.
So the man offered the slithering reptile a drink -- from a water bottle.
The snake enjoyed the drink and appeared to be grateful for the kind gesture. It did not try to bite the man.
