GALVESTON, Texas - The Galveston Police Department responded to a fatal motorcycle accident that happened around 3:50 a.m. Monday near the 1200 block of Seawall Boulevard.

Investigators say they found a Harley Davidson V-Rod motorcycle that had collided with the rear of a parked vehicle and a white man who wasn't breathing.

The victim has been identified as 31-year-old Houston man Adam Naddak. He was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m.

Police say Naddak was speeding in the eastbound lanes of Seawall Boulevard and was unable to safely negotiate the bend near the 1200 block. That's when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the vehicle.

Naddak was not wearing a helmet and was believed to be traveling at speeds in excess of 65 miles per hour, according to authorities.
