The couple partnered with ExxonMobil and Rebuilding Together Houston to repair homes damaged by Harvey.

It's unclear how long the couple will be in Houston renovating homes, but many expressed their gratitude to the couple, who live in Waco.

Chip reached out to the Houston Astros on Twitter ahead of Game 5 of the World Series to let the team know he'd be on standby if it needed an encouraging word before the game.

One person responded to Chip's tweet saying "petition to let chip throw out the 1st pitch!!!"

ExxonMobil shared photos of the couple putting in work at the home of a woman named Doris.
