FBI searching for 'blue-collar bandit'

HOUSTON - The FBI is looking for a bank robber it has dubbed the "blue-collar bandit."

Around noon Thursday, investigators said the crook walked into the J.P. Morgan Chase Bank in the 7800 block of Long Point and handed the teller a threatening note.

Officials said the teller gave the bandit some cash and he took off on foot. No one was hurt.

Investigators said the man is described as white, around 45 to 55 years old and approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall. Officials said he has gray and black hair, a gray beard and was wearing light-blue coveralls and large-frame eye glasses.
