HOUSTON - A man claiming to have a bomb held up a west Houston bank on Wednesday.
FBI officials said the Amegy Bank in the 800 block of Frostwood Drive was robbed shortly before 10 a.m.
Detectives said the robber handed the teller a note that demanded money and indicated that he had a bomb.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the man left the bank on foot, officials said.
The robber was described as white, 40 to 50 years old and 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a leather jacket, a camouflage shirt, jeans, a skull cap pulled over his ears and light-colored glasses.
