Fans excited about Texans' win

Texans beat Ravens 43 to 13

HOUSTON - Fans at Reliant and all over town are excited about Sunday's win, and many are hoping this is a sign of bigger things to come.

Breaking out the battle red, the Texans faithful returned to Reliant Stadium, reinvigorated and out for redemption one week after the Texans' loss against the Packers.

With less time for build up, parking lots were packed with fans ready to get straight down to business.

No stranger to noon starts, fans filed into the stadium early, armed with team colors.

When it came time for kickoff, a sea of red was there to greet the bulls on parade.

"Everybody expected these guys to win every game this year. Just the hype and the build up this year. But we're going to come back," said Mike Wilson, a Texans fan.

"My favorite uniform is the red shirts with the white pants. That's what I love when everybody wears the same uniforms," said Texans fan Eric Uribe.

"Battle red is the biggest spirit day of the year. Everybody comes here and they have their big red spirit hats.

The Texans put a franchise record 43 points on the board in front of the home crowd.

"It was a great win. The offense just stood up. They really did a great job," said Jay Tilley, a Texans fan.

"The place was on fire. People were high-fiving all the way around. People were just out of control," said Texans fan Dana Hanley who attended the game.

Fans over at the Texans Grille were also out of control as another packed house saw the Texans hit their bye Week with the AFC's best record.
