HOUSTON - A family of four was hurt in a fire at a northeast Houston house that's being remodeled.
The Houston Fire Department said the flash fire broke out around 8 a.m. Monday morning at the house in the 7200 Block of Laredo. The fire was put out within minutes.
Authorities said a father, mother and their two children were transported a local hospital with minor injuries. They're all expected to be recover. Their names, ages and conditions were not released.
Arson investigators are trying to determine what sparked the fire. No damage estimate has been released.
