HOUSTON – An argument at a pool led to a man and a child being injured after a suspected drunken driver got behind the wheel of a car, Harris County Precinct 4 constables said.
Investigators said they were called Monday regarding a man struck by a vehicle at the Parkside Place Apartments, in the 6000 block of FM 2920. When constables arrived, they learned that the man and the suspect, identified by officials as 27-year-old Holly Kapchinski, had an argument by the apartment's pool.

During the argument, Kapchinski, who investigators said was "highly intoxicated," got into her vehicle, ran over the man and struck an iron fence on the apartment grounds. The impact caused her 8-year-old daughter, who was in the car with her, to hit her head against the windshield, officials said.
Kapchinski is charged with aggravated assault motor vehicle and endangering a child, investigators said. She is being held without bond.
