HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - A man was arrested Monday after he was found to be in possession of drugs and a stolen weapon, deputies said.

Constable Mark Herman's office said deputies responded to a disturbance call in the 17200 block of Timber Cliff Court and arrived to find Dominic Angel Morales, 17, involved in a verbal dispute. During the call, deputies said they saw several firearms in plain view inside Morales' vehicle.

Herman's Office said Morales gave deputies consent to check the guns, and during the search they found one of the guns was listed as stolen and another had a filed-off serial number.

Deputies said they also found 10.25 pounds of marijuana, an electronic scale and several plastic baggies.

Morales is charged with felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor unlawful carrying of a weapon. He was booked into the Harris County Jail with a bail of $51,000.
