HOUSTON - Police arrested two men after a wild chase through the Willowbrook area early Sunday morning.

According to investigators, a Harris County Precinct Four deputy ran the plates of a car outside the Silverado Theater.

After realizing the vehicle was stolen, the officer signaled for the driver to pull over.

Instead, the driver took off, speeding north on Highway 249.

At some point, the driver turned around abruptly and began heading in the opposite direction.

Investigators said the driver reached speeds of 120 miles per hour.

According to officers, the car's transmission eventually gave out, and the driver was forced to pull off of the highway onto West Greens.

That's when deputies surrounded the driver and arrested both him and his passenger.
