WEST HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - An innocent driver was killed late Friday night, when a driver ran a red light and slammed into his truck, deputies said.

The collision happened just after 9 p.m. Friday on Mason Road at the Katy Freeway frontage road.

Deputies said Michael Bisotooni died instantly after getting hit by that truck.  Investigators on the scene said Bisotooni was driving a 1995 Toyota Tacoma westbound in the 21800 Block of Interstate 10.

According to deputies, a man driving a 2001 Chevrolet truck was traveling northbound on Mason Road, and according to witnesses, ran a red light.  The truck hit Bisotooni's truck on the passenger side.  The victim's truck then hit another vehicle stopped at the red light.
