HOUSTON – A woman was rushed to a hospital after she crashed a car into an apartment building.
Houston police said the crash happened at the Forum Apartments on Beltway 8 near Bissonnet at around 12:20 a.m. Monday.
According to investigators, the woman was heading north on the Beltway when she lost control and slammed into the building.
Emergency crews shut down the feeder to pull the car out of the building.
The driver was taken to a hospital. Her condition has not been released, but officials said she suffered head injuries.
No one was living inside the building at the time of the crash because the unit was being renovated.
