Smelly, tattoed man wanted in Harris County robbery

KATY, Texas – Sheriff's deputies need your help finding a robbery suspect described as having "severe body odor."

Investigators said the man entered a restaurant located in the 2800 block of North Fry Road on Nov. 17 and asked about a job. A restaurant employee advised the man to write down his information.

Deputies said the man then demanded money out of the cash register, but the employee said she did not have access to the cash.

The employee said she became nervous when the man failed to remove his right hand out of his front pocket, deputies said, and feared he may have had a weapon.

The man then grabbed a tip jar that was on the counter and ran away, deputies said.

The man was described as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 210 pounds. He had three dots tattooed near his right eye, a tear drop tattoo under his left eye, and a dollar sign tattoo on his left ring finger.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging or arrest of the suspect.
