Deputies pluck ducklings off toll road, release them in natural habitat

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A family is safe, thanks to a few quick-thinking deputies in northwest Harris County.

On June 17, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Toll Road Division plucked four ducklings that were trying to cross the mainlanes of the Sam Houston Tollway near West Road.

The family was safely released into their natural habitat.
