HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - 337 roosters, three kilos of cocaine and a lot of money.

That's what has two men facing possible charges in north Harris county.

Cage after cage of roosters were found on Sellers Road and Aldine Mail Route, investigators said.

Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff's Office answered a call there about a kidnapping last week.

There was no evidence of a kidnapping, but deputies did find the birds, drugs and more than $40,000 in cash, according to investigators.

Deputies said the roosters were used for illegal cockfighting.

The animals have since been turned over to the Houston SPCA.
