HOUSTON - It is up to a jury to decide the fate of a former Pasadena officer charged in the shooting of a man four years ago.
Closing arguments wrapped in the case Friday, and the jury will continue deliberations Monday as court goes into recess for the weekend.
Former officer Michael Martin faces official-oppression charges after police said he shot Victor Hernandez, 19.
Martin said he opened fire after Hernandez tried to run him over with a car.
