HOUSTON - Police are trying to track down the thieves who knocked a hole in the back wall of a northeast Houston clothing store.

It happened around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Citi Trends store on 8503 Mesa Drive near Tidwell.

Officers called in a K-9 unit to search for the crooks in the store and around the neighborhood, but did not find them.

Police said the manager looked through the store, but was not able to tell if anything was taken.

Officers believe they got there fast enough that they scared the suspect off before they could take anything.
