Man killed in mysterious shooting in southeast Houston

Police say the man was found in the parking lot of an unknown business

HOUSTON - Houston Police homicide detectives are investigating after finding a man shot outside a strip mall at 10900 Kingspoint Road and Tanner Park Court late Monday evening.

At around 9:30 p.m. police say they responded to a shooting call at a business, and found that victim with several gunshot wounds. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he later died.

His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

According to police, witnesses say an man was seen dragging the victim inside a business and then a gunshot was heard.

Witnesses stated they then saw two unknown male suspects run out of the business, get into a silver vehicle of unknown make or model, and flee the scene.
