LOUISVILLE, Ky. - A Kentucky school district is investigating after an argument bewteen a Louisville high school student and her teacher ended with the student punching the teacher twice in the face.
Another student in the Ballard High School classroom recorded video of the incident, which was later posted to SnapChat.
A witness inside the room said the incident began when the student politely asked the teacher a question, but they quickly began arguing. He says it got heated when the teacher began writing a discipline referral note to be sent to the principal.
The student witness says the teacher called security to the room after the punches, and the girl was taken away from class. District officials says she was not arrested and the teacher was not taken anywhere for treatment.
