HOUSTON - A big project has just been completed at Houston's beloved Memorial Park.

The Memorial Park Conservancy planted 90,000 saplings this week.

It was the largest tree-planting project in the park's 97-year history.

The final 15,000 saplings were unloaded and planted Friday.

A variety of trees were planted; oaks, cypress trees and pine trees.
