CONROE, Texas - A crash in Conroe left a car at a nearly 90-degree angle on a utility pole.
Officials said the driver of the car was speeding on Jefferson Chemical Road and ran a stop sign at the intersection of FM 1485 Sunday night.
The car struck a utility pole and drove up the pole, leaving the car upright in the air.
The driver was not hurt but energy crews had to shut down the power before he could exit the vehicle.
Department of Public Safety officials issued him a ticket.
