HOUSTON – If you love football and food, get your appetite on and pull on your stretchy pants: The menu for Super Bowl LI and the NFL Experience has been unveiled at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
“This is seriously good eating, so much to choose from and so, so delicious”, said Dominic Jackson, a student chef at Westside High School.
More than 500 original dishes have been cooked up by the chefs at Aramark, the exclusive food and beverage partner of NRG Stadium.

Ranging in price from about $5 to $25, the dishes include everything from uniquely spiced waffle nachos with guacamole and sour cream to maple-crusted beef tenderloin and Maine lobster macaroni and cheese.
Two special tribute sandwiches have been created to honor the two Super Bowl contenders the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.
The Beantown Griller is a slow-cooked tri-tip pot roast sandwich with caramelized onions and Cabot cheddar cheese, served with bacon infused baked beans.
The ATL Fried Chicken Stak is made up of crisp waffle fries topped with buttermilk fried chicken, peach marmalade barbecue sauce, and sour cream and onions.

“We worked so hard to come up with a dish that would represent all of us here in Houston and capture that down-home feeling of the South,” Vivian Romero said.
Romero and her fellow culinary classmates at Westside High School were honored their signature dish, The Bayou City Banh Mi 51, was chosen for the Super Bowl Menu.
They created the sandwich using grilled fajita steak, avocado and pickled vegetables, among other scrumptious ingredients.
Altogether, Aramark says, there will be more than 2,400 cooks and food workers serving the public at this year’s extravaganza.
Whether you are in the stands at NRG, in a luxury suite or just milling around outside at the NFL Experience, the food is sure to knock you out.
