RICHWOOD, Texas – The City of Richwood issued a voluntary evacuation Tuesday for residents who live on Magnolia and the east side of North Yaupon as water from Bastrop continues to rise.
A dusk until dawn curfew was implemented Wednesday for the Audubon Woods and Glenwood Bayou areas.

Streets have been closed to through traffic and officials are checking driver’s licenses to ensure those trying to get into the community are residents.
Residents who live in flooded areas and have medical needs can call the city for assistance at 979-365-2082. First responders will be on hand to assist those with medical needs to get from their homes to outside the barricaded area.
