HOUSTON - The Red Carpet Inn is the target of another lawsuit, this time by the city of Houston, which in the suit is accused of being a nuisance.

In the lawsuit, the City of Houston alleges that the Red Carpet Inn, on the Gulf Freeway near Maxwell, has been a place for drugs, prostitution and assaults.

According to the lawsuit, Houston has responded to 38 calls at the motel in the past month.

Last month, Harris County filed a similar lawsuit against a Red Carpet Inn at a different location.
