CONROE, Texas – Conroe police are investigating skeletal remains that were found in a wooded area.
A citizen was walking through a wooded area near the 700 block of North FM 3083 West at 4:51 p.m. Wednesday when they ran across skeletal remains, officials said.
The Conroe Police Department was called and immediately set up a perimeter to investigate the scene, according to authorities.
Police said the identity of the deceased person is unknown.
Police also said they are following up on several leads they have received.
