Chad Holley graduates from high school.

HOUSTON - The teenager at the center of an HPD beating controversy got his high school diploma Thursday night.

Chad Holley walked across the stage to get his diploma from Cypress Falls High School. The graduation was held at the Berry Center in Northwest Harris County.

Holley made national headlines after a video was released of several Houston police officers beating and kicking him on the ground during his arrest.

Holley received probation on the burglary charge.

One of the officers, Andrew Blomberg, was found not guilty earlier this month of official oppression. The other three officers in the case are still awaiting trial.
