Burglars use saw to steal safe in Stafford area

STAFFORD, Texas – Fort Bend County sheriff’s detectives are hoping the public help them will track down a trio of thieves who they say stole a safe from a convenience store.

The burglary happened June 22 at the Shop N’ Go on Dulles Avenue at Ludwig Lane in the Stafford area.

Investigators said one of the men used a “heavy duty” saw to cut through the front door.

Surveillance cameras captured two more men entering the store, one with a crowbar.

Investigators said the men left with the store’s red safe, which was filled with cash and lottery tickets.
