Bones found at apartment complex identified

HOUSTON - A woman whose skeletal remains were found at an abandoned southeast Houston apartment complex has been identified.

Houston police said Natasha Hollins' remains were found in the 6300 block of Cullen Boulevard on Sept. 17.

Detectives said people evaluating the property for purchase found Hollins' skull on the overgrown property. Investigators said they searched the site and found almost all of her skeleton.

Police said they are trying to determine where Hollins was during the months of June, July and August of this year. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
