HOUSTON - The man who police say kidnapped a 6-year-old girl because he wanted to get in trouble faced a judge Monday morning.

The judge raised Joaquin Ramos' bond from $50,000 to $200,000.

Ramos, 23, was arrested last week at a west Houston hospital while his wife was in labor.

Investigators say he kidnapped Kelly Tellez in front of her mother because he was scared about becoming a father and wanted to do something to get arrested.

Hours after the little girl was taken, she was found safe.
