Body pulled from Buffalo Bayou in downtown Houston

HOUSTON - Houston firefighters pulled a body out of Buffalo Bayou in downtown Houston Thursday morning.

A debris removal crew with the Harris County Flood District spotted the body in the 600 block of Franklin at Congress around 9 a.m.

The Houston Police Department Dive Team was called in to assist.

The person's identity was not known.  The person was wearing shorts.

This is the second body found in Buffalo Bayou this month.  Another body was found in the bayou in the 900 block of York Street on July 18.
