BELLAIRE, Texas – Bellaire police are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding a burglar.
Police said the burglar entered several unlocked vehicles on Beech and Palmetto streets in the 4900 to 5000 block around 4 a.m. Friday.

The burglar then entered a home in the 4900 block of Beech Street and was disturbed by the resident. Police said the burglar fled the house and was found by a responding officer.
The burglar was able to flee from the officer and was not found, police said.
The burglar is described by police as a black male who was wearing a white long-sleeved sweater and blue jeans.
