Baytown man rescued from burning car

Officers, civilians try to put out fire

BAYTOWN, Texas – A man was rescued from his burning car over the weekend in Baytown. 

The driver's car burst into flames after a crash off Bush Road.

Dashcam video shows officers and civilians trying to put out the fire.

Some tried to use water bottles to douse the flames.

Moments later, officers used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames and pulled the driver out of the vehicle.

The driver was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
