Bandana-clad man robs Pearland store after asking for cigarettes, police say

PEARLAND, Texas – Pearland police are searching for a man who robbed a Pearland store.

The man entered Tweety Market at 3502 Broadway St. at about 10:10 p.m. on Oct. 30, police reported.

He approached the counter and asked to buy cigarettes. Police said the man then pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the cashier.

According to police, the man was in his 20s and wore a white hoodie, blue “Hornets” cap and red bandana around his throat. Police said he was slender and had a mustache and goatee.
