STAFFORD, Texas - Authorities are asking for the public's help in the search for a missing special needs man who left his home in July.

Fort Bend Co. sheriff's deputies say Thomas Chacko was last seen Thursday, July 4, 2013, at his home in the 2800 block of Dove Country in the Stafford area. Chacko, 37, is schizophrenic and takes medication. However, family members do not believe he has medication with him nor does he have a phone.

Chacko has no known contacts in the area. However, he may attend New Testament Church on West Shaw in Pasadena.

Chacko is described as an Indian male, 5-feet, 9-inches in height and weighing about 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and when last seen was wearing a black jacket, blue slacks and a white and blue polo shirt.

Chacko may be staying at homeless shelters in the Houston area.
