HOUSTON - Investigators are searching for a man they say stabbed a man to death in southwest Harris County.

Officials with the Harris County Sheriff's Office said Rashad Tate, along with three other people, broke into a home in the 13200 block of Benford Drive in February.

About an hour later, investigators said the men took off through a back door. Concerned neighbors took a look through the windows of the home and quickly called police when they noticed blood stains throughout the house, officials said.

When deputies arrived and forced entry into the home, they said they discovered Carlos Martin's body. Investigators said Martin had been stabbed to death.

Tate has since been charged with murder in the case. Officials have not released any information about the other three people involved.

Tate is described as black, around 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 125 pounds.

If you have any information, you're asked to give Crime Stoppers a call at 713-222-TIPS (8477). You could get a reward of up to $5,000.
