Three men believed to have been running a human smuggling ring out of their home were arrested Wednesday by Montgomery County officials and agents from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies received a call about suspicious activity at 27200 FM 2090.
Deputies were invited into the house by two Hispanic men. Deputies said it appeared that a number of men in the house were involved in human smuggling.
Deputies said they found a stolen truck and stolen rifles at the house.
Three men were arrested and five other people in the house were detained, deputies said.
