Authorities asking for public's help to find bank robber

HOUSTON – The FBI is asking for the public's help to find the man who robbed a bank inside a Houston Walmart on Saturday. 

According to authorities, a man with a tan bandage wrapped over his right hand walked into the First Convenience Bank at 10411 North Freeway at 2:12 p.m.

He approached a taller and handed her a threatening note, authorities say. He did not display a weapon and no one was injured. 

He left the building with an unknown amount of cash. His getaway vehicle was a black SUV parked in the Walmart lot. 

The FBI said the robber was wearing sunglasses, a long-sleeved black shirt and possibly jeans.
