Astros' hat tossed up side of parking garage says everything about Houston

HOUSTON – Nearly one million people packed downtown Houston Friday afternoon for the Astros' World Series victory parade and celebration, and one video posted on social media captured the true spirit of 'Houston Strong.'

The Astros wore a patch with those words after the phrase became a rallying cry in the wake of the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.

During the parade Friday, fans not only lined the streets of downtown, but the parking garages as well.

Apparently a woman dropped her hat from about eight stories up. No fear. A happy crowd of Houstonians were able to return her lid.

In a video posted to Twitter by @AlanEnokian, fans can be seen throwing the hat up the side of the parking garage, one floor at a time.

At one point, someone missed and the hat fell back down a couple floors, but the fans persisted and were able to throw the hat back up to her, resulting in loud cheers of "MVP! MVP! MVP!"

The caption on the video was, "This lady dropped her hat, and Houston came in clutch to get it back up to her #earnedhistory"

We agree, Alan, we agree.
