Astros fans fired up for ALCS Game 7

HOUSTON – Astros fans made their way to the Postseason Street Festival outside Minute Maid Park Saturday afternoon before Game 7 of the ALCS.

"The crowds are crazy. Every pitch it's like it's the last pitch. The excitement in the stadium is wild. It's just the best thing ever,” Page Finn, who is from Dallas, said about the playoff games.

Finn and her family attended Game 6 and made sure to stay for Game 7.

Fans who attended the game enjoyed music, food, face painting, bounce houses, sign making and much more at the Street Festival, which started at 3 p.m.

“It doesn't happen every year, so to share it with my boy, we’re both Astros fans and it’s very special,” said Christopher Saldivar, who was at the festival with his wife and son.

"In game 7 tonight, it’s not just the Astros, it’s Houston playing against the Yankees. And one thing I know is tonight they will get a Houston whippin'," Mayor Sylvester Turner said. "I started to say something else, but I wanted to be kind. I am the mayor."
