Aryan Brotherhood chop shop raided in San Jacinto County, officials say

SHEPHERD, Texas – A chop shop with connections to the Aryan Brotherhood was raided Friday in San Jacinto County, according to authorities.

Liberty County Precinct 6 Constable John Joslin said one of his deputies received a tip about the chop shop, and Joslin alerted the Auto Theft Task Force that is run out of Montgomery County.

Joslin said a search warrant was served Friday morning at the property on Our Road off U.S. Highway 59 between Cleveland and Shepherd.

Five people were arrested during the raid, Joslin said. A number of stolen vehicles, illegal weapons and drugs were also found, Joslin said.

The Aryan Brotherhood, which is also known as The Brand, Alice Baker, AB or One-Two, is the nation’s oldest major white supremacist prison gang and national crime syndicate, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
