Armed smoke shop robbery caught on camera in northwest Harris County, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies are searching for two men accused of robbing a smoke shop in northeast Harris County, according to the department.

Investigators said a man walked into the EZ Roller Smoke Shop at 11410 Louetta Road June 16 around 12:15 p.m. and an employee asked him if he needed help making a purchase. He asked to look at a smoke pipe and then left, deputies said.

The man returned to the shop moments later with a friend, who pulled out a short-barreled shotgun and demanded the employee empty the register.

Deputies described the first man as being African-American with a medium build and a full beard. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and was wearing a dark-colored jacket, shorts with high socks and tennis shoes, officials said.

Investigators said the men left the smoke shop and escaped in a older silver-colored Mitsubishi Galant. The car went westbound on Louetta Road, officers said.

Investigators said his companion is also African-American, has a thin build, no facial hair and hazel-colored eyes. He was wearing red jeans, dark-colored jacket and a dark-colored baseball hat.
