HOUSTON - Employees and customers at northwest Harris County Denny's were terrorized by a group of armed robbers early Wednesday morning.

"I thought I wouldn't see another day," said Denny's manager Eva Mendez.

Mendez said the three thieves stormed into the restaurant, located in the 1700 block of W. FM 1960, around 3 a.m. and held a gun to her back.

"They had bandanas over their faces. All I could see was their eyes," said Mendez.

Investigators said the three men managed to hold four employees and three customers at gunpoint as they demanded Mendez give them cash from the registers.

"When I started to give him the money, he says, 'This isn't enough, where's all the money?' I said it's a slow night," said Mendez.

The crooks pistol whipped one of the employees and kicked them in the face. That employee had to be taken to an area hospital.
