America's Got Talent judges talks about 7th season

NEW YORK – It's America's most beloved variety show: America's Got Talent.

Season seven began with more than 300 contestants and week by week, they've gone up against one of the toughest panel of judges on television.

I got a chance to sit down with the judges, Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Howard Stern, who is as modest as ever.

As soon as we sat down Stern said, "To be here in person with Howie and Sharon and myself, in person, it's exciting."

Mandel responded, "He loves himself! Never misses anything he does."

So I asked, "If you could sit down with someone and say, 'Look, this is what we're looking for,' What would you say?"

Stern answered, "We're looking for originality. I mean, we're looking for something we haven't seen before and something we would pay money to see. We'd pay money to back."

Mandel added, "I think it was Woody Allen that said 99 percent of success is just showing. If you don't show up, you'll never know and just having the guts to do it."

Stern laughed, "Although, we've had a lot of people show up and they really sucked."

Osbourne reasoned, "But, at least now they know so they can go on with the rest of their lives instead of thinking, 'I wish I would've done that.'"

Now after sending scores home, it's down to six contestants for the finale.

Stern said, "I think this is the highest level of talent we had on this show. I don't know that anyone's going to walk away with this. I think it's going to be a bloody fight to the end."

This season, the action off stage has made as many headlines as on stage with this year's addition of the King of All Media, Howard Stern.

Mandel said, "It doesn't not get better than this, people! It doesn't it doesn't."

Osbourne added, "This is the best judging panel on TV!"

Rumors have swirled around Osbourne, the sole female on the panel. There has been speculation about whether this will be her last season on the show.

Stern begged, "Please come back, darling! What is going on? Do you want to tell me? Tell Howard. Tell me what's going on?"

Osbourne laughed, "Would you behave?"

Stern joked, "Well, I'm walking out if you walk out!"

Osbourne stayed mum on her future plans, but fans are hoping she'll stay onboard to keep Stern and Mandel in line as best she can.
