LOS ANGELES – It was a dream come true for Pearland's Kechi Okwuchi.
The "America's Got Talent" finalist was one of the first performances featured in the Season 12 finale -- a vocal trio with Grammy-winning artist Kelly Clarkson and fellow contestant Angelica Hale.
"My expectations, all my expectations, have been exceeded," Okwuchi said. "It's just been an amazing journey. I'm just so happy I made it to the finish!"
In the end the Season 12 crown was awarded to ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer but Kechi left her mark on the hearts of viewers and judges with her voice and her story.
The plane crash survivor proved she was more than just a survivor.
