Alvin ISD teachers remix Rihanna's 'Work' before STAAR testing

PEARLAND, Texas – Teachers at Alvin ISD found a fun way to get students excited about STAAR Tests. 

Mrs. Santillian and Mrs. Baker teach at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary School in Pearland.  They created a video which puts a spin on Rihanna's hit song, "Work."

The lyrics were switched from, "work, work, work, work," to, "You're gonna pass the STAAR, STAAR, STAAR, STAAR we know that you are, are, are, are."

The video also encourages students to show and double check their work during testing.
