Washington, D.C. - This picture was posted by an airline passenger who says the weather was so hot at Reagan airport in D.C. that the landing gear on this US Airways plane sunk about four inches into the asphalt.  He wrote on (view at your own risk) that he was stranded for hours while workers tried to free the plane.  "Then they off-loaded luggage to try to make it even lighter and blasted the engines to try to get it out," he wrote.  The Huffington Post followed up with the passenger and you can click here to read that.  When it was all said and done, the flight took off about three hours late.
