HOUSTON – A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the man authorities said is responsible for stealing seven tactical rifles from a pawn shop in north Houston on Nov. 30.

On Nov. 30 around 7:20 a.m., authorities said a heavy-set man wearing a black jacket, a hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, white tennis shoes and a multi-colored hat stole several rifles from the EZ Pawn at 1991 FM 1960.
An older Dodge Ram with tinted windows, chrome door handles and stock 20-inch rims was seen in the area at the time of the burglary.
Authorities are warning about the dangers that come along with stolen firearms.
"They can be use to further the criminal enterprise, they can be used to trade for other property or drugs, or other guns. And they can also be used to be trafficked to the cartel, so any place these guns go, none of it’s going to be a good solution,” Special Agent Nicole Strong said.
