FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas – Six people were arrested and marijuana totaling a street value of $2.3 million were seized following the execution of search warrants in Fort Bend and Harris counties, deputies said.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said its Narcotics Task Force was investigating illegal marijuana growing operations over the past several months at four different residences: the 600 block of Fair Oaks Drive; the 15000 block of Val Vista Drive; 7511 Marisol Drive; and the 1500 block of Sierra Valle Drive.

After search warrants were obtained, they were executed at the residences, where agents said they found sophisticated indoor marijuana operations being conducted in three of the homes, along with weapons, currency and cultivated product in the fourth location.
Deputies said they located a total of 778 marijuana plants, indoor growing lights, scales, water pumps, fans, inverters and assorted equipment used for manufacturing, packaging and selling marijuana.
Trong Vo, 35, James Huy Nguyen, 27, and James Huy Nguyen, 37, all of Houston, are charged with possession of marijuana. James Huy Nguyen had an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance.
The Sheriff's Office said three additional suspects, who were not identified, were arrested in Harris County and charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
