5 men wanted in armed robbery at pawn shop

HOUSTON – Police are hoping surveillance photos will help them locate the five men wanted for robbing a pawn shop in north Houston.

It happened just after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 at the Diamond Pawn Shop at 8900 Jensen.

Houston police say at least five black men were carrying weapons when they entered the store with their faces covered. One man is seen in the video with a pistol-grip AK-47 rifle.

Officials say the men stole jewelry, firearms and cash from the shop.

The men then took off in a Ford F-250 pickup truck that police believe was stolen. The truck was found abandoned later that day in the 3300 block of Sadler.
