4 accused of graffiti on church sign in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - Four people were arrested for vandalizing a church sign Friday in The Woodlands, police said.

A deputy on patrol noticed a pick-up truck near a church sign on the 3100 block of Sawdust Road in The Woodlands at about 1:10 a.m., police report.

According to police, as the deputy approached the truck, he witnessed a man in gray hoodie walking from a church sign that had been vandalized with graffiti. The deputy also noticed multiple spray paint cans inside of the truck, officials said.

Police said they determined that the four occupants of the vehicle had vandalized the church sign, along with several other houses and cars in the area that night. According to police, all four suspects were arrested on multiple counts of criminal mischief.

Police said the arrested suspects were John Christoper Huante, 18, Katherine Margaret Cromb, 18, Samantha Pina, 17, and an underage female.

Officers said that they are still receiving calls from citizens reporting spray paint vandalism.
